Author's Pov,

Arya finished her paper and the last bell rang at the same time, she sighed in relaxation and waited for the students to submit their solved papers, not wanting to go with the crowd and get in any unwanted accident.

When she noticed that only two or three students were left behind, she too got up and moved to submit her paper, but her eyes fell on Siddhant who was looking at her continuously.

She nervously tucked her hair strand behind her ear and gave her paper to the examiner so did Siddhant at the same time.

Arya started to go out of the classroom knowing that she is in big shit, after spending her three hours solving her exams when her great-grandmother-in-law sent Neil to take her home, but Siddhant called her from behind and she halted.

"Hey, Mrs Raichand you didn't thank me again."

Arya turned towards him and asked not knowing the reason behind his unexpected statement, "And for what Mr-

"My name is Siddhant Agnihotri, and you should thank me because you became able to submit the solved paper just because of me," Siddhant was quick to answer.

Arya glanced at him with wide eyes but she knew he was right, Neil wouldn't have agreed to let her write her exams if he wasn't there, and all thanks to his political background, because Agnihotri's are old rival of Raichand and that is also a bloodthirsty.

But that was not Arya's concern, she never meddled in her husband's matter and always focused on her duties as wife and good daughter-in-law, but she was not ungrateful, so she smiled warmly, and said in a polite voice, "Thank you, Siddhant."

For a second Siddhant just kept staring at her beautiful smile, but he quickly realized what he was doing and brushed off his thoughts, he wanted to say something but nothing came out of his mouth so he said what came inside his head at that moment, "I am not accepting this thank you...If you have anything better to give me in return for a thank you, I will surely accept it....what about coffee."

Arya's smile dropped from her face, she didn't have money, not a single penny if she had at least ten rupees she would have asked him for tea in their college canteen, but she never had money in her purse and she learned living without money in this three years, and to be dependent on her husband for her daily expenses which got fulfilled without a single word from her, she gulped down the lump which formed in her throat and said embarrassingly, "I don't have money."

Siddhant looked at her with amazement and said sarcastically, "If you don't want to give a treat don't give it, but it sounds funny that the daughter-in-law of Raichand family is lying for a few rupees."

Arya's eyes snapped toward him and she tried to tell him that she wasn't lying but before that Siddhant spoke, "It's ok, Some other day. I am not going anywhere, as I am going to stay in this city for my whole life now."

Arya nodded her head and dashed out of the classroom, Siddhant stared at her back, he knew she wasn't lying but it was strange that CM's wife didn't have money in her purse to buy a cup of coffee.

Arya came outside and saw that Neil was smoking a cigar while resting his back on his black Mercedes Benz.

She carefully moved towards him, and when Neil noticed her, he quickly threw his cigarette and opened the passenger seat's door, but before she could sit inside the car a yelling voice of her best friend stopped her,

"Oye! Why are you going home that is also without meeting me?"

Neil who was standing behind her said in a cold voice, "Sit inside the car I will talk with her."

But Arya didn't move from her place and said in a pleading voice, "It will take just one minute, please."

Neil didn't say anything and sat inside the car.

Arya glanced at Mahi who came toward her and hugged her tightly.

Mahi asked in a complaining voice, "Were you going home without meeting me?"

"I need to go now," Arya said and broke the hug.

Mahi pouted and asked innocently, "Don't you want to accompany me to drink our favourite tea at a roadside stall?"

Arya smiled and replied, "Next time."

Neil heard their conversation and felt disgusted thinking about the roadside tea.

Now his brother's wife would drink the roadside tea and infect the blood of his brother who was growing inside her womb.

He just wanted to get out and give peace of mind to the girl who was proposing that idea, but whom to blame, a lower class people will remain lower class.

God knows how his brother tolerates this dirt, he will never sacrifice his life the way his brother did marrying a lower-class girl. His thoughts broke when Arya sat inside the car and he brushed off his all thoughts.

He glanced at her who was already looking worried and said with warning in his tone, "You should prepare yourself from here only, because Bhaisahab isn't at home to defend you today."

On highway.

Krunal's eyes opened with a jerk and he glanced outside of the car window and saw that the car was still moving on the road, he understood that they hadn't reached yet.

He took out his phone and opened the lock screen, thousand of notifications popped on his phone screen, but two names caught his eyes one was from his best friend who called him after six months and the second was from a known yet unknown person, he decided to call his best friend but before he could dial his number, the second number showed up on his phone screen.

He picked up the call and a drunk but sexy voice came from the other line, "Badhayi Ho Chhote Sarkar CM ban Gaye Aap."

(Congratulations, You have become a Cheif Minster)

"Aapki hi Mehrbaani hai Neharika ji varna hamari itni Aukat Kaha."

(It's only because of you Neharika Ji, otherwise where did I have such a status)

Neharika clutched the phone tightly and said in a longing voice, moving a tongue on her parched lips, "Aapki yahi Ada hame maar dallegi ek din."

(This charm of yours will kill me one day)

An evil chuckle left his mouth and he said in utter disappointment, "Hame Aapse yeh Ummid nahi thi."

(I didn't expect this from you)

She softly giggled and twirled the red liquid in a glass, She moved her tongue on her lips and heard his breathing sound before saying like a lovesick puppy, "Aapki to Sans bhi hame apna gulam bana rahi hai, kya kare Aapki Mohabbat ne diwana Jo kiya hai."

(Even your breath is making me your slave, what I can do your love has made me crazy)

The smirk that was playing on his lips vanished in the thin air and he said calmly like her words didn't affect him at all, "Pahle Hosh mein Aa jaiye Neharika Ji, Phir baat karte hai."

(First, come to your senses Neharika Ji, then we will talk)

He didn't hear her next word and disconnected the call, and so many thoughts started to run inside his head, but his thoughts broke upon hearing his Sher Baba's question,

"Aap unke sath itne Tameez se kaise baat kar lete hai?"

(How did you talk with her so politely?)

A beautiful smile graced Krunal's lips and he asked while playing with his phone, "Aapko pata hai Sher Baba hoshiyaar Aur Chalak insaan mein fark kya hota hai?"

(Do you know the difference between clever and smart?)

Sher Baba shook his head negatively and Krunal chuckled after seeing it.

Sher Baba has been in politics for decades now and he didn't know this simple rule it was shocking for him.

He stopped playing with his phone and answered, "A clever man knows how to solve the problems that come his way, but a smart man knows how to turn that way in his direction, and that is his biggest victory."

A proud smile came on Sher Baba's lips and he said, "Hamne Aapko apne baho mein pal poskar bada kiya hai, par phir bhi kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki hum Aapko pahchante nahi."

(I have raised you in my arms but sometimes seems like I don't know you)

His lips twitched upward in a beautiful smile and he replied, "Hamne vo hak abhi tak diya nahi hai kisi ko, Aur jis din denge us din hum hum nahi rehenge."

(I didn't give that right to anyone yet, and the day I give it to someone I will not remain I )

Hospital.

Arya came and sat beside Neil in front of the doctor's chair when they were going back home, her tummy started to pain, and she asked Neil to take her to the hospital, and now they were sitting in the hospital waiting for the doctor to arrive with her sonography reports.

Arya's eyes were already tear-stained, but she kept herself sane, just for her baby's sake, knowing that it would be harmful to him if she took too much stress.

Neil glanced at the doctor who came and sat in front of them, he didn't wait and quickly asked, "Is the baby fine doctor?"

That doctor narrowed her eyes at him thinking that he didn't ask about his wife's health but the baby's and said to Arya Ignoring Neil's question, "How old are you?"

"21," Arya answered anxiously.

"Is it your first pregnancy?"

Her face fell but she managed to let out, "Second."

"What about first?"

Arya took a sharp breath and answered, "I miscarried after four weeks."

"And Reason?" The doctor asked.

Arya never wanted to remember it but she knew it was needed, so she prepared her heart and answered, "I was on birth control at that time so I didn't think I would get pregnant, I missed my periods but I was ignorant towards it because it happened sometimes with me, and in that phase I was going through some mental stress so it happened."

"That's okay you are young and it happens sometimes, and the pain you were feeling in the tummy is normal, but is it paining now?"

Arya shook her head and the doctor wrote something on the prescription list, she gave it to Neil's hand, and said strictly, "Make sure to buy all medicines."

Neil glanced at himself, to check if he was looking odd or weird and saw that he was looking dashing as always with black jeans and a turtle neck sky blue sweater, but that doctor was treating him like a beggar.

He has more money than that doctor could imagine in her seven lives, he snatched that prescription list from the doctor's hand, paid her bills and stormed out of her cabin with his nose flared in annoyance.

The doctor turned towards Arya and gave her the sonography report.

Arya glanced at it, and a beautiful smile came on her lips.

When she woke up in the morning she thought of coming to the hospital for sonography but after a long drama she cancelled that plan, but now she was standing looking at her baby's sonography image, and she could use it properly.

She smiled happily but suddenly that smile vanished in thin air remembering the time they wasted here, she knew something worse was waiting for her at home.

She thanked the doctor and came out of the cabin and saw that Neil was already waiting for her outside, he started to walk away and she quickly followed him.

Arya hastily removed her seatbelt and tried to open the door but it was locked, her eyes turned towards Neil who started to whistle suddenly, and her heartbeat dropped.

She took a long breath to calm her nerves, and asked calmly, "Why did you lock the door?"

"Don't be so innocent Arya," Neil said and chuckled like he cracked some kind of joke.

She gulped down her saliva and asked hoping not to hear anything bad but she couldn't expect a person like Neil to say something good, "What do you need?"

"I will inform you on the right occasion but you need to promise me that you will do it without any hesitation and in return I will keep the hospital thing secret in front of Badi Dadi Saheb."

Having no option Arya agreed, "Promise, I will do it." she knew it would cost her fortune but it was better than her great-grandmother -in-law's wrath.

Neil chuckled and opened the car door for her, Arya came out of the car and moved toward the enormous door of Raichand Mansion, and the butler who was standing there quickly opened that door for her, but when her eyes fell on the scene, teardrops flowed out of her eyes.
